Your data and how to erase it
This page explains exactly what Salli Ala Muhammad stores, and how to remove every trace of it. It is written to satisfy the data-deletion disclosure required by Google Play and the user privacy choices link required by Apple.
There is no account to delete
The app has no sign-up, no login, and no user profile. We operate no server, so no data about you has ever been transmitted to us or stored by us. There is nothing on our side to request the deletion of.
What is stored, and where
Everything the app remembers lives in your device's own application storage:
- Interface language
- Arabic or English
- Device local storage
- Reminder speed
- Fast, medium, or slow
- Device local storage
- Hourly timer
- On or off
- Device local storage
- Permission state
- Whether overlay access was granted
- Device local storage
- Reduced frequency
- On or off
- Device local storage
- Pause state
- When a pause ends, and the length you chose
- Device local storage
- Salawat phrases
- The bundled phrase list

How to erase everything
On Android
- Open Settings, then Apps, and find صلِّ على محمد ﷺ.
- Tap Storage, then Clear storage — this wipes your settings while keeping the app installed.
- To remove everything, go back and tap Uninstall.
On iPhone or iPad
- Remove the widget from your home screen if you added one.
- Touch and hold the app icon, then choose Remove App, then Delete App.
- Deleting the app removes its App Group container, including your language setting.
What happens next
Uninstalling removes all locally stored settings immediately and permanently. Nothing is retained, because nothing was ever copied off your device. There is no waiting period and no backup for us to purge.
